The Long Night of Research

Time to don your lab coat and put on your thinking cap! On the third Friday of May, from 5pm to 11pm, Austria’s research centers open their doors for the “Lange Nacht Der Forschung.” You’ll get to see various hands-on experiments in action, and attend workshops, lectures, and presentations. The highlight of the night is the live experiment sessions featuring scientists from the Gregor Mendel Institute as they take you through Gregor Mendel’s discoveries. Who knows – maybe one quick flash of insight will result in your next Nobel Prize!
